May Events in Kansas City

Before your calendar fills up, make sure you take a look at all of the fun events coming soon in Kansas City! See below for just a few of Visit KC’s highlighted activities.

2018 Art in the Loop Project Kickoff: On May 1, the 2018 Art in the Loop Project: KC Plays, a curated outdoor exhibition, is celebrating its kickoff with a reception and program at the Central Library. The exhibition will feature 15 works of art and performances in the greater downtown area.

The Original River Market Food Tour: Every Friday from April 20 through November 16, the Original River Market Food Tour will take place. In the tour, guests explore the River Market neighborhood and visit locally owned restaurants to taste the foods.

Jason Aldean High Noon Neon Tour: Celebrate the warm weather with a country concert! Jason Aldean will be kicking off his summer tour at the Sprint Center on May 10.

Mother’s Day at the Kansas City Zoo: While Visit KC has many ideas for Mother’s Day, one special event is a visit to the zoo! On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, all moms will receive free admission.
